These terms govern your use of the ambs.co.nz website. By using this site you accept them. They cover the website only, work we do for you as a client is governed by a separate written agreement.
1. Information only
Everything on this website is general information about our services. It is not advice for your particular situation, and it is not a quote, an offer capable of acceptance, or a contract. Nothing here creates a client relationship. Any engagement begins only when we both sign a written agreement setting out scope, price and timeframes.
2. Examples, figures and demonstrations
Time savings, hour estimates and interactive demonstrations on this site are illustrative. They are based on typical tasks in New Zealand businesses and are used to show how our systems work. Your actual results depend on your business, your tools and your data. We measure real figures with you during a session rather than promising them in advance.
3. Accuracy and availability
We take care with what we publish, but we do not warrant that the site is accurate, complete, current or uninterrupted. Content may change without notice. The site may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
4. Intellectual property
The Ambs Solutions name, logo, page designs, text and code on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may view, print and share the pages for your own business purposes. You may not copy, republish or adapt them commercially, or present them as your own, without our written permission. Systems we build for a client belong to that client as set out in their engagement agreement.
5. Clients in the same industry
We work with many New Zealand businesses, and some of them may be in the same industry or area as you, including businesses you compete with. We don't offer exclusivity unless we agree to it in writing for a set service, area and time. If two of our clients would compete directly for the same online advertising or search results, we tell both of them before we take on that work.
6. Confidentiality
Anything you share with us about your business stays confidential, including your customer details, prices, figures, plans and logins. We use it only to do your work, we keep each client's information separate, and we never share it with or use it for another client. Each client's website, wording and designs are made for that client. These commitments apply to every client, alongside your written agreement.
7. Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious code, scrape it at a scale that degrades service, or use it for anything unlawful.
8. Links to other sites
Where we mention or link to third-party tools such as accounting or messaging software, we do so for information. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website, including indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies, along with its last-updated date.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
